They create a craft of great beauty and it is they who cultivate each parcel of this country, they are overfished in the large fincas large landowners or they try to nurture the small milpa (corn field), they have managed to maintain altitude. The fabulous ruins of their ancestors, as well as at Tikal Coban reflect the antiquity of the cultural wealth of this nation.<\/span><\/p>\n

HorizonCosmopolite<\/strong>, in collaboration with its Guatemalan partner, offers you the opportunity to volunteer in a primary school located near the town of Antigua. Depending on your objectives and skills, you will be able to help teachers in the classrooms,facilitate workshops, job shadow, teach some academic subjects in Spanish, teach English, etc. You will live with a local host family where you will have the chance to fully integrate yourself in the daily life of this community. A total immersion experience awaits you!<\/p>\n
